For a time we thought it would be a rainy day and few would come; but it cleared off some and the attendance was not extremely diminished.
On account of the damp cool weather food was served in the cabin behind the house.
In a atmosphere of fun & frolic everyone partook of the scrumptious meal, a few overestimating their capacity and causing rather unpleasant feelings in the regions of their stomachs.

A ball game was played between the "Yankees" and the "White Sox",
the wieners being the "Yankees" whose captain was Chas. Newton & members of the team were Frank, Lloyd, Harold K, Naiomi, Lew, George, & Mabel.
The captain of the losing team was DeWitt Newton, and players, Harold F, Cedric, Lu Ceil, Charles Jr., Freddie, Floyd, Ida Mae, and Helen MaKuch.
