Obituary: Florence E. (Holtz) Roof (1924-2014)

Florence E. Roof  died Friday, November 7, 2014 in Wyoming County Community Hospital, Warsaw,NY.
She was born on February 24, 1924 in Perry, a daughter of the late Clyde and Bessie Harbeck Holtz.
She married Milton E. Roof  (1905-2000), he was the son of Nellie Newton Roof (1885-1973).

Florence was a graduate of Perry Central School and was a former employee of Mallory Timers, Inc. of Perry.
She was also a member of the Short Tract United Methodist Church and was involved in The Gideons International and many arts and crafts.
Surviving are a niece, Sharon Holtz of Perry,
a step-son,
a step-daughter,
many step-grandchildren,
step-great grandchildren,
step-great-great grandchildren and several step-nieces and step-nephews.

Family and friends may gather from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at the Kopler-Williams Funeral Home, 21 N. Genesee Street, Fillmore where a funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m.  Gary Wickard, Pastor of the Short Tract United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Short Tract Cemetery.
